Teachers and the ones who can guide students and help them achieve higher IQ levels by asking them thought-provoking questions and inculcate the habit of asking how and why questions. Apart from this, they can take live examples of what is happening around and discus on those topics. For example, there is an agitation going on in the Telangana, between the government, road transport cooperation and high court. Teachers can use discus about these topics and explain how our system, judiciary and corporations works.
- Contribute to the schoolwide improvement agenda.
Teacher extends their impact beyond their team to the whole school. They understand that success in one class or subject can be erased by limiting success in another class. As a result, the teacher takes a responsibility to help build a culture of continuous development, respect, and trust across the school. They serve on curriculum, school improvement, instruction, leadership, or other essential leadership teams.
- Inculcate fun and education.
A teacher can conduct surprise tests that relieve students from monotonous classroom teaching and subject. Instead, a teacher can come up with some quiz and other competitions which help students to question themselves, apart from academics
- Build relationships with policymakers.
A teacher is in the best position to influence the decisions of policymakers. They have the authentic experience and insights to provide practical examples to people who make decisions that affect them and their profession. They are among the most trusted members of the community. Teacher leaders get involved in the political process and build relationships with candidates and those elected to govern because they know investing in new positions them for influence later.
