It’s too early to celebrate after exam?

It is highly unlikely that you and your friends will finish the exam simultaneously. Your friends might start celebrating while you have another exam to prepare for. If you are preparing for IIT JEE and your friends have decided to join a degree course other than engineering, then you have another exam to prepare for. It is not unfair, so don’t start your celebrations until your exams are over.

Embrace the small victories.

If you have a bunch of exams, you should plan small and manageable rewards after each. This will keep you motivated and your spirits high if you acknowledge and treat yourself after demanding work. It can also help you return to studying, knowing you’ve taken a well-deserved (short) break.

Use what works

The best part of the post-examination is you’ll that I have tried and tested revision techniques. Review what you’ve done so far and assess what worked best. That way, you can work smarter rather than harder.

Keep on top by staying organized.

Breaking the work you need to do into manageable chunks will help stop you from becoming overwhelmed. Looking at the bigger picture can make things seem impossible. Make plans, charts, or lists to help you organize the rest of the work. After all, there’s nothing more rewarding than crossing out an item on your to-do list.

Study with the right friends

Studying doesn’t have to be a personal job. Make sure to turn to study into a social activity. Getting people together to work can be a huge motivation, and they can keep you in line and on schedule.

What can be tricky is finding the right friends to study with. Be honest about how well you work with someone, and politely explain that certain people only serve to distract you.

Take care of yourself.

Exam season can become an excuse to let everything else go, but keeping up with exercise, eating healthily, getting enough sleep, and maintaining self-care are all essential to staying motivated. Make sure you make time to take care of yourself, or you risk having problems down the line.
