Top Ten Central Government Schemes in India

 1. Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY)

Our former honourable Prime Minister of India declared the “Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana”, recognising it as the National Mission on Financial Inclusion when he was addressing the Indian public on Independence Day, 2014.

  1.  This scheme guarantees the extensive financial involvement of all the households of the country, which bestowed ubiquitous access to all banking facilities like fortifying to own at least one primary bank account to every family.
  2.  It also furnishes financial literacy, access to credit, insurance as well as pension facility.
  3.  Using this scheme, any person who does not have an account can open an account even with zero balance money.
  4.  And if they do not even have any officially verified documents to open a savings account, then also they are eligible to open a small account.
  5.  It also aids in expanding the reach of banking services. It surveyed about 6 lakh villages of India into 1.59 Lakh Sub Service Areas (SSAs) where each SSA comprised of around a thousand households. And for the 1.26 Lakh sub-service areas not having a bank branch, they installed Bank Mitras for branchless banking.
  6.  Hence this yojna supplies easy ingress of banking facilities and recognition about financial services and tools to the people not having any account, owing to financial literacy programmes.
  7.  Moreover, they receive a RuPay debit card with inherent accident insurancesheathof about two Lakh rupees, and they also have the privilege of acquiring the overdraft facilities by monitoring the account history for six months.

Till 27th March 2019, the number of accounts has reached to 5.27 crores. 

2. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao

The Government of India has put on a lot of efforts to get scour of the old superstitions of the Indian society which bereaves the girl child of her fundamental right to get an education. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao is a program that grails at prompting awareness amongst the persecuted classes (castes) of the nation especially so that they can help their girls to grow with a better upbringing and learning for a better future of the country ahead.

3. Ayushman Bharat Scheme

Through this scheme, Government sights at nourishing health aid to nearly ten crores impoverished, deficient and substandard classes of the nation. This scheme focuses on supplying a better living to the poor of the country and their families.

4. Swachh Bharat

This program expresses to educate people about the basics of keeping their surroundings clean. It directs people about a healthy nation which we can gain only if we keep our environment clean. The national political leaders have also straightly marked out the point that only a clean country can progress towards a better and leading future ahead in the coming times.

5. Gobar Dhan Yojana 

This scheme points out the importance of animal or human wastes that can be used in several ways by recycling, etc. According to the Government who formed this scheme, the collected solid wastes of human and the animal can act as fuel to generate energy as well as fuel that can directly or indirectly be utilised for many other purposes in several ways. This is a program that is related to Swachh Bharat Yojana that together points out the harmful effects of open defecating in the fields and other places in the open.

6. Solar Charkha Mission

The national leaders of the country realised that the small artisans and the craftsmen of India have a vast economic potential and that they should get help from the Government for it. Hence this scheme which mentions the medium and the small enterprises, the artisans of the northeast were granted exceptional service.

7. National Bamboo Mission

The Government of India provided some substantial financial aids to the bamboo industries so that the sector of bamboo production and several other linked industries can aid for future economic growth.

8. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 

The GOI plans to build houses for the homeless and economically backward sections of the society under this scheme by the end of 2022.

9. Transformation Of Aspirational Districts Programme

This program relates to the development of the rural areas and links them with the urban areas through roadways, highways, etc. which will act as a communication system between the two. The Government implies that the rural and the primitive regions and districts of the nation could be advanced and could be better linked with the other urban centres of the country. Hence, the uplift of the roadways and the communication systems is a vital bother in this scheme.

10. Operation Green

The Government has launched this program after witnessing the recent demolition of the farmers and the cultivator class of India that they should give financial aids to the farmers in anguish. This may also influence the fluctuating price control of vegetables such as onions and potato.
